The Agency
Carroll County EMS was established in July of 2000 out of a need to suppliment the county volunteer agencies. We began with one ambulance that was staffed ALS from 6am - 6pm.
Now we are called Carroll County Fire Rescue and run two ALS staffed ambulances 24hrs a day 7 days a week using 24hr shifts with 48hrs off. We also operate an ALS first response vehicle on week days from 9am to 5pm which responds on all ALS dispatched calls in the county. We have thirteen full time and several part employees.
